One of my favorite new items on our Gear Guide this year (check it out on the left!) is the Silver Cross Dazzle stroller, which in my humble opinion is the most stylish of all modern strollers. We recently got one to review and it is even more fabulous in person.
First off, it's is extremely lightweight. It says it's suppose to weigh in at 15lbs, but it seemed like a lot less than that. The package it came in said only 10 and that seemed more like it. The fabric is awesome! Very durable and soft to the touch. I also liked the silver frame and the pretty handles. The overall design is just amazing and it's just as fun to look at as it is to push.
Speaking of pushing, it rides like a Bugaboo. It has 4 wheeled suspension and it passed both our inside and outside strolling test. It was fabulous on the sidewalk especially. Also the wheels were fairly easy to clean afterwards.
The hood is really nice too. It has twin air vents and a viewing window. But my favorite part of all is the hidden shopping basket. See that part underneath the seat? That's it!
The Dazzle has received multiple awards, including the Mother and Baby Magazine Gold Award, a Prima Baby Magazine Hot Buy Award , and a Pregnancy & Birth Magazine Best Buy Award. It has been chosen for three different gear guides as one of the best strollers, including Junior Magazine's Buyer's Guide, Fit Pregnancy's Buy'er Guide, and the Shopping for Baby Guide declared it the Best Urban Ride in 2008.
The Dazzle as has also appeared in the Sunday Times on their Fast Track 100 list as one of the best new baby products.
