Another one of my favorites at last month's Hollywood Baby Shower Boom Boom Room (there were so many cool companies there, I'll be blogging about it for months). Launched last year, Zooni is a socially responsible sister team enterprise specializing in unique, handmade, high quality accessories that are as whimsical as they are functional. The collection of hip, hand-knit hats are guaranteed put a smile on even the grumpiest soul. For 2008, they are introducing several new hat styles and their newest collection of mitten puppets that are already turning heads.
They also donate a portion of their proceeds to local and international children’s charities as well as audit their vendors for fair trade, fair labor and environmental standards. Now that is pretty cool.
