Orbit 2010

As I said in an earlier post, Orbit is redesigning their stroller system for 2010. Below are the new pictures of the Orbit G2, which comes in the same colors as before (gray and mocha) as well as the new red.



As you can see, the stroller no longer has air tires. Most parents thought they were too hard to keep up with, so they changed the tires and also gave them a special shock absorbing material. The shiny metal frame is gone too.



There's also a child tray with a lid that fits on the front. I don't think it works with the older models as the bumper bar on the toddler seat is now differet.



New model has a cup holder.



The bassinet and car seat are staying mostly the same, except the bassinet now come with a boot cover.





A new accessory is head & body support.



The shade has changed a little bit.



The toddler seat now fully reclines.



The foot rest on the toddler seat is different now too and expands to fit a growing child.



The bag under the stroller still comes off to be used as a diaper bag, but now has a shoulder strap.



They are also expanding their Orbit Green line to include covers for both car seats and stroller footmuffs. These come in two colors and will fit newer and older models.





Look for Orbit Green this December. Look for the new Orbit G2 in early 2010.
