Robeez baby shoes, a favorite of actress Jennifer Garner, made a recent donation of $1 million worth of shoes and booties to charity!
The donation of more than 36,000 pairs of Robeez – which would stretch almost six miles if laid heel to toe – fulfills a promise from the company's "Season of Giving". For every pair of shoes or booties purchased on Robeez' websites in North America, Europe, and Australia during November and December 2006, Robeez pledged to match it with a donation to Kids In Distressed Situations, Inc. (K.I.D.S.), a charity committed to helping children in need all over the world.
Since 2003, Robeez has donated 135,000 pairs of shoes and booties, a donation that would reach over four times the height of Mount Everest if stacked heel to toe. Through its Heart & Sole program of charitable giving, Robeez regularly provides shoes to children in China, Russia, Romania, Ethiopia, and throughout North America.
