Jeanine Johnsen founded Jeanine Johnsen, LLC in 1999, soon after the birth of her second daughter, Lilly, as she was unable to find the kinds of clothes she wanted for her baby. After spending much time in New York, London and Paris researching the "classics", she sat down at the drawing table and developed her own variations on classically themed clothes for kids that she wanted to buy.
Her collection now ranges in size from infant to preteen and has a complete line of summer, fall, and outerwear clothing.
