This month's Cookie Magazine features an interview with model and now children's fashion designer, Liya Kebede. Inside, Liya poses with her equally beautiful daughter, Raee, and tells her of brand new clothing line for kids. The line is called Lemlem (which means "to bloom" in Liya's native Amharic) and it is made exclusively in her Liya's home country of Ethiopia. Liya wanted her line made their so as to help the local weavers get work in the Western markets and thus help many people get out of poverty the way she did.
