Kicky Pants

You may have recently heard about the new organic brand, Kicky Pants. Jessica Alba bought many pieces of their line at Bel Bambini in West Hollywood, and Angelina Jolie got a bunch of their white outfits as gifts for her twins. The company was actually started by a mom on bedrest as a way to work from home and partner with her husband. She not only designed the clothes, but also invented a really cool product called the Auto Mobile that allows you to hang toys on your car.

The clothing is 95% bamboo and 5% Lycra. Bamboo is a very eco-friendly material that doesn't require any pesticides or herbicides to grow. It also absorbs water 3-4 times better than cotton, and it's naturally antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-static. Plus it doesn't require synthetic or chemical processing.

But there's more. How can there be more? Well wait and I'll tell you! Bamboo stays 2-3 degrees cooler in hot weather and warmer in cold. And it's SO naturally soft and silky feeling. That was one of the things that amazed me so much about the clothing when I felt it for the first time. It felt like it should have the label "Splendid" or "Ella Moss" attached to it.

But then again, anything that's worn by an Alba or a Pitt has to be good. Even if it's not too expensive ($30 for a dress, $28 for a romper, $18 for a onesie).
