4Moms 2009

4Moms introduced three new products at the ABC Kids Expo, including the Mamaroo infant bouncer that won the JPMA Innovation Award. This cool little seat was made to mimic real life motions that babies like including rocking back and forth like a mother (a real person was used to create this on a simulator), a car ride, ocean waves, and kangaroo hopping and a tree swing. It also has 5 built in nature sounds, a removable toy tray, and a full recline seat.

Origami Stroller can be as big or as little as you need it to. It folds out into a full size stroller and then when it's time to go back in the trunk, it can fold to almost nothing. And actually, you don't fold it. Motors in the front, which are rechargeable-battery operated, do. You only have to do go through two steps.

The battery also operates the interface screen on the top, which lets you know that the stroller is totally open, a child is inside, the battery is charged, the temperature, and how far you've walked. And get this: the battery actually recharges itself while you walk. Just 300 feet is all it takes to recharge one open and close cycle.

The Origami also comes with 4 cup holders (2 parent, 2 child), a backpack that hooks on at the bottom, a bassinet and car seat adaptors for a Graco car seat.

The Good Night Sleep Trainer takes all the methods written in books and uses them to help teach your child to sleep. It comes with a timer which schedules interactions for parents and their children, telling you how long to let the baby cry before picking it up. This helps to teach the baby how to self-soothe and put itself to sleep. It also records how long your child has slept and then you can go online and compare it to statistical norms.

Look for all this stuff next Spring.
