Maclaren in introducing a totally new stroller for 2009 called the Grand Tour LX. It's called a "Crossover" stroller, modeled after the auto industry's Crossover Utility Vehicle. And much like a CUV, which gives you the chassis of a car and the luxury of an SUV, the Grand Tour LX comes packed with the luxuries of a big stroller (forward and rear-facing positions, a removable carrycot, the ability to accommodate a car seat, etc) but on the chassis of a small stroller. This allows for easier folding and steering, just as with any lighter stroller.
Some neat features included are a removable carrycot for infants.
A dashboard console with a clock, temperature gauge, and Strollometer built in. It's also got safety lights with a remote control.
And it comes with a few of these extras, like a bag for the wheels, a storage cover, a cup holder, a carry bag, a dash bag organizer, a rain cover and a mosquito net. Look for it in November.
